Net Flow Meter

The Net Flow Meter is a specialized instrument designed according to national standard GB17378.7-2007 for measuring the volume of water filtered by a plankton net. It features a 5-digit mechanical counter and a hydrodynamically optimized impeller system that significantly reduces flow disturbance, allowing for natural sample collection. The instrument is compatible with different specifications of biological nets, and its modular structure facilitates easy operation and maintenance, suitable for continuous field work. During operation, water flow pushes the impeller to rotate, and the counter records the number of revolutions. Combined with the net mouth area, the total filtered water volume can be accurately calculated.
